About this calculator

CSAT (Customer Satisfaction Score) is one of the simplest and most widely used experience metrics: after a support interaction, purchase, or survey, customers rate their satisfaction, and CSAT is the share of satisfied responses out of all responses (usually the top one or two points on a rating scale, expressed as a percentage).

Customer support teams, product managers, and CX researchers track CSAT after specific touchpoints — a support ticket, an onboarding flow, a checkout — because it's easy for respondents to answer and easy to trend over time, unlike broader relationship metrics like NPS. A dropping CSAT after a particular interaction is often the fastest warning sign that a process or feature has started causing friction.
