About this calculator
The dram most commonly meant here is the avoirdupois dram, 1/16 of an avoirdupois ounce, equal to exactly 1.7718 grams; the apothecaries' dram (used historically for medicine dosing) is a different, slightly larger unit at about 3.888 grams, so context matters when converting.
