This tool flips your text upside down by swapping each character for a visually similar Unicode look-alike glyph — for example, the letter "e" is replaced with the character "ǝ," which happens to look like an upside-down "e" — then reverses the character order so the whole string reads correctly when flipped.

Because the output is made of real Unicode characters (not an image or special font), it can be pasted anywhere plain text works — social media bios, usernames, chat messages and comments — and it will render flipped on any device or platform, which is why it's a longtime favorite for playful or attention-grabbing posts. Not every character has a perfect upside-down match, so some punctuation and less common letters use the closest visual approximation available.
