About this calculator

This calculator answers a single question that comes up constantly in everyday math: what is a given percentage of a number? It applies the basic formula (percent ÷ 100) × value — for example, 15% of 80 is (15 ÷ 100) × 80 = 12 — and returns the result instantly without needing to convert the percentage to a decimal by hand.
