This calculator finds each pizza's area using πr² (since pizza size is almost always given as a diameter, not an area) and divides the price by that area to get a true price-per-cm² or price-per-square-inch — the only fair way to compare pizzas, since a 16-inch pizza has more than twice the area of a 12-inch one, not 33% more as the diameter difference might suggest.

It's used by anyone comparing a "10-inch for $12" deal against a "14-inch for $20" deal, families deciding whether one large pizza is a better value than two mediums, and pizzeria owners setting prices that stay consistent in cost-per-area across their size menu.
