About this calculator
This calculator divides the number of correct answers by the total number of questions to get a percentage score, then maps that percentage onto a standard letter grade scale (A, B, C, D, F) using common grading cutoffs.
Students use it right after a test to see their grade before the teacher hands papers back, and teachers use it to quickly convert a raw "17 out of 20" style score into a percentage and letter grade for the gradebook.
