About this calculator
Volume discount pricing rewards larger orders with a lower per-unit price, calculated as Discounted price = Base unit price × (1 − discount%), with the order total simply that discounted price times quantity. Discounts are usually tiered — for example, 5% off at 100+ units, 10% off at 500+ — so the effective rate depends on which bracket the order quantity falls into.
